About Vacuum Trucks
Inquire about the new VecLoader 821 at 5,700 CFM
For over thirty years, Vector has offered powerful industrial vacuums, incorporating innovative technology to solve a wide range of industrial vacuuming problems. The VecLoader 721 and 821 ("VecLoaders") are the latest in a series of high powered Vector vacuums.
Organizations considering the purchase of vacuum trucks should carefully consider the following competitive advantages offered by Vector vacuums:
Price
The VecLoaders' are less than half the cost of a high mercury vacuum truck and
affords a quicker return on investment
The VecLoaders' consume less fuel than a vacuum truck and requires significantly less maintenance, insurance, and replacement parts. Plus, splitter housings on vacuum trucks are prone to failure resulting in costly downtime.
Billing Rate
The VecLoaders' are billable to customers
at a rate substantially less than a vacuum truck enabling contractors' to find
more business and better satisfy customers.
Compact Size and Mobility
The VecLoaders' are better positioned on job sites than vacuum trucks
due to its compact size and operators transport it with a one ton truck. Vacuum trucks are
space restricted due to their size and require operators with commercial driving licenses
(CDL) .
Furthermore, the vacuum trucks' gross combination weight rating cannot exceed the legal road limit of 70,000 lbs. This constraint greatly limits the trucks storage capacity resulting in far less vacuuming time and less productivity.
Non-Stop Performance
The VecLoaders' work non-stop discharging materials into job site trucks or dumpsters.
Vacuum trucks must leave the job site to discharge. This practice disrupts production and
causes unnecessary downtime, especially in high density urban areas.
Efficient and Effective
The VecLoaders' efficient filtration systems are comprised of pleated, spun-bond
polyester bags that reduce vacuum line loss and increase productivity. Vacuum
truck use standard filtration bags resulting in less productivity. VecLoaders' can also be equipped
with H.E.P.A. filtration for vacuuming hazardous waste streams.
Smaller, More Manageable Hose Sizes
The VecLoaders' best perform utilizing a six inch diameter hose or multiple smaller
diameter hoses. Vacuum trucks are designed to use eight inch hose, which is extremely
difficult for operators to handle. When vacuum trucks use six inch hose, the blower is
underutilized resulting in lower productivity due to reduced vacuum line velocity. Plus,
using six inch hose on vacuum trucks dramatically increases hose wear.
Viable Choice
The vacuum truck airflow is comparable to the VecLoader 821(5,700 CFM), yet, the vacuum truck is
not always a viable option on job sites nor the buyers choice. VecLoaders'
offer rugged powerful performance and many competitive advantages over the vacuum truck.
It can be used in an endless number of applications by a wide assortment of organizations.
All in all, the VecLoader is the viable choice.
