Large pieces of pipe insulation, lagging, wallboard, contaminated paneling, block insulation, or floor and ceiling tiles. These contaminated material problems have previously meant bagging, or palleting and wrapping – then dragging the material out of the containment area. Not very efficient. InsulEater Is Built To Handle The Grind
A unique combination of operational and safety features makes the InsulEater ideal for abatement operations. The shredding system combines the power of a high-torque, 10 hp motor with a pair of heavy duty, counter-rotating cutting blade sets. Add to this a heavy gauge steel chute and shredder housing and industrial duty, oil tight controls and you have the most rugged package on the market. For safety, we have incorporated a dual nozzle wetting system, automatic vacuum sensing, a lighted kill switch and an orange feed indicator light.
