VECLOADER® HEPA VAC II® VACUUM LOADER (DIESEL)

Sales Information | US Specs | Metric Specs

The VecLoader Hepa Vac II is a wet/dry HEPA filtered vacuum machine that is specifically designed to convey asbestos and asbestos contaminated materials over long distances. Any material, whether liquid, slurry or solid that will move though a five inch diameter hose can be handled by the Hepa Vac II. It may be used to move contaminated ash, dirt, dust, sand, stone, water, monocoat, acoustic insulation, pipe insulation and block insulation for distances (depending on product wet or dry flowability) up to 1,000 horizontal feet. Often the Hepa Vac is used in conjunction with Vectors’ line of InsulEater Shredders for integrated breakdown of acoustical tile, pipe and block insulation and other contaminated products that are initially larger than the 5" hose diameter. The material collected in the cone of the separator is completely evacuated into collection bags from the patented discharge valve which has a enclosed slide plate, housing and washout system designed to ensure that all hopper evacuations are not only efficient but safely controlled. Detailed specifications noting the Hepa Vac II's full range of features are available.

VACUUM PUMP: Roots/Dresser Model 616 DVJ, rotary lobe positive displacement blower.
PUMP RATING: Rated vacuum of 24" Hg negative static pressure (320" water) at an air flow of 2,367 CFM.
PERFORMANCE: Bulk dry materials will load to 11-14 tons/hour or at distances up to 800'. (275 gallons water/minute).
ENGINE: John Deere industrial engine, model 4045T. (Electric powered units are available).
ENGINE RATING: 4-cylinder; water-cooled turbo diesel; Continuous 125 H.P @ 2400 RPM.
SPECIFICATIONS: Belt drive through Rockford PTO; variable operating speeds between 1,000 to 2,400 RPM; mechanically governed; 12 volt starter, and 40 AMP alternator with internal regulator; 15"/5 blade pusher fan, mounted on water pump; dry type air cleaner.
CONTROL PANEL: Key start, temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge, ammeter, tachometer, air pressure gauge, and hour meter. High temperature and low oil pressure safety shut-downs, clutch engage/disengage control switch, pulse timer, vacuum timer and emergency stop.
FUEL: Fuel -- #2 Diesel, Fuel capacity -- Two each, 50 Gallon tanks, Running time 8 hours (approximately).
COLLECTOR UNLOAD: Collector raises to a maximum height of 8'-6". The conical discharge has flanged discharge valve providing controlled transfer of collected material directly from the separator to an asbestos bag or bag/barrel combination. When the cyclone collector is in raised position, it is upheld by rigid support arms. The material collected in the cone of the separator is completely evacuated into collection bags from the discharge valve. The discharge valve design ensures that all hopper evacuations are safely controlled.
CYCLONE/BAGHOUSE: Cyclone collector with 7/8 cubic yards in the conical storage section, flanged. Baghouse contains 156 square feet of coated polypropylene cloth continuously cleaned by reverse air pulses during the pulse cycle. The pulsing of the bags is controlled by a pressure switch and solenoid valves. Magnehelic gauges show the differential pressure drop across filters.
HEPA FILTRATION: All air is filtered through a certified HEPA rated at 99.997% efficient at 0.3 micron.
OTHER FEATURES: Fiberglass enclosure to protect operating components, locking door latches, regenerative air dryer with electric heater, tool box with common tools, emergency warning/communication system with strobe, water jets for cone wash-down and filtration, emergency pick-up hose, internal auger, H.E.P.A. condition monitor with shutdown and alarm horn, 16" access hatch, two stage air compressor driven off the engine accessory drive.
TRAILER: Fully road-ready with tandem 6,000 pound axles, electric brakes, hand-operated parking brake, hydraulic jack for raising and lowering the trailer tongue, all lights for legal night highway operation, heavy-duty ring-type hitch, LT235-85R-16 radial tires mounted on six lug spoked rims.
